Police inspector, constables injured while trying control fight between 2 groups

A police inspector was seriously injured in a fierce attack on the police team which had gone to resolve dispute between two groups on Thursday night. Two constables are also injured.

Police inspector Suraj Bandgar of Yavat police station is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

According to Pune rural police, the incident took place in Dhayagudwadi Boripadi. Due to past enmity between Najma Mulla and Munna Londhe, both sides had called their friends, relatives and were fighting with each other. After getting information, inspector Bandgar led a team there and he was pacifying them, when some people attacked him and constables Sankul and Gaikwad.

On the basis of complaint of head constable Bapu Raghoba Bandgar, attempt to murder case has been registered against Munna alias Sanjay Rajesh Londhe, Padmini Aba Kasbe, Phulabai Raju Londhe, Vikas Vasant Rakhpasre, Balasaheb Suresh Rakhpasre, Vasant Bhausaheb Rakhpasre, Sangita Vasant Rakhpasre, Avi Suresh Rakhpasre, all residents of Fursungi, Haveli , Pune, and Satish Aba Kasbe, Chhagan Maruti Bhave, Somnath Rajendra Kasbe, Nana / Balasaheb Narayan Lodhe, Vitthal Rajesh Londhe, Manik Shivaji Bhale, Pramod Dadoso Avchat, Sachin Rajesh Londhe, all residents of Kedgaon, Chaufula, Daund, and other eight people along with Iqbal Mubarak Sheikh, Imran Shaikh, both residents of Khatik Ghali, Daund, Pune and their two associates.
