Police caught taking bribe of 2,000 rupees in Police Station by ACB

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – In Kolhapur’s Rajaram police station a case was registered about a nominal fight. In this case, the police officer from the station didn’t arrest the culprit instead he gave bail to the person after taking the bribe of 2000 rupees. This whole incident happened in-front of Anti-Corruption Bureau and they have arrested the constable.

The suspect in the case is Sanjay Lobhaji Niytam, who is from Nanded. When this incident took place in the police station on Tuesday it shocked the whole police department.

Uttam Kambale lives at the house of Vikram Kambale. He lives there on rent.

Vikram’s father Shivaji took 30 thousand rupees from his cousin brother Sandip Kamble. Due to non-payment of money, there was a conflict between them. After 6 months when Vikram went to their house to give invitation card of the housewarming ceremony of his new house, the angry Sandip Kamble threw the invitation card on the ground. Because of this, they got engaged in a verbal fight and physical fight.   Out of which Sandip registered a complaint in Rajaram police station.

In this case Sanjay Niytam a constable asked bribe of 2,000 from Vikram to give him bail without even arresting him. Vikram straight away went to the Anti-Corruption Bureau officer, Girish Gode. After confirming the facts they placed a trap and the constable fell in int and he was caught red-handed.
