PM Modi’s Message on Buddha Purnima – ‘World is in Danger, Helping Each-Other is Everyone’s Religion’

New Delhi : PM Narendra Modi today on the day of Buddha Purnima, addressed the nation and said, ‘Today, the world is honoring the Corona Warriors, who are fighting on the front foot against the havoc of the Coronavirus.’

Today, a virtual program was organized on the occasion of Buddha Purnima, which was attended by many big leaders of the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the event. PM said that Buddha has given the message of service to the world.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this time the circumstances are different, the world is going through difficult times. It would have been a privilege for me to come among you, but the current situation does not allow it.

PM Modi said that India is standing with the world at this time with no selfishness, we have to protect our family as well as our surroundings. Helping everyone in times of crisis is everyone’s religion.

In this program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Buddha is not limited to any one situation, he gives the message of helping everyone under humanity. Today the system of society has changed, but the message of Lord Buddha is the same and it has a special place in our life.

The program honors the Corona Warriors, who are fighting the war against Corona, people suffering from the Corona virus. Many Buddhist leaders from all over the world will participate in the program, who will express their views in this war against the Coronavirus.

Significantly, due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, caution is being taken this year. This time the Buddha Purnima ceremony will be held on a virtual level keeping social distance.

The event is being held in honor of COVID-19 victims and frontline warriors, such as medical staff, doctors and policemen and others. Actually, Vesak Buddha Purnima is considered as triple blessed day i.e. the birth of Gautama Buddha, attainment of knowledge and Mahaparinirvana day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been involved in many international programs before, where the Coronavirus has been discussed and further strategies have been made. Recently, the Prime Minister had said in a program that the world is still battling Corona virus, but in the meantime, many people are engaged in spreading terror and fake news virus.
