Pimpri – 2 persons killed in slum fire

Pimpri: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Two persons were killed while several others sustained injuries when fire erupted in Dalvinagar locality of Chinchwad.

The incident took place around 3.15 am today when people fast asleep.

After getting information, personnel from Pimpri Chinchwad municipal corporation (PCMC) rushed to the spot. By the fire could be controlled , five huts were gutted.

The deceased persons have been identified as Shankar Tatyaba Kshirsagar (35) of Dalvinagar,
and Pradip Prakash Mote (38) yrs of Walhekarwadi.

Officials are trying to ascertain the cause of the fire and also checking if there was any cylinder blast.
