Petrol-Diesel Price: Petrol-diesel will be expensive in these states from June 1!

NEW DELHI : VAT has been imposed on petrol and diesel in several states including UP, Delhi, Nagaland and Jharkhand, due to the spread of Coronavirus across the country, due to which the price of oil has increased here. Now from June 1, Mizoram, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal government are also imposing VAT on petrol, after which people living here will have to spend more money to buy petrol and diesel. At the same time, there is no change in the price of petrol and diesel in all the metros including the capital of the country.

In Jammu and Kashmir, the tax on petrol has been increased by two rupees per liter. At the same time, the tax on diesel has been increased by one rupee liter. According to an agency, the new tax rates will come into effect from June 1. The current petrol in Jammu is selling 70.04 paise and diesel 62.08 paise. After the introduction of new rates, the drivers will have to lose their pockets for petrol and diesel. At the same time, the Mizoram government has announced to increase VAT by 5 percent on petrol and 2.5 percent on diesel from June 1. Here, VAT will be charged at 25% instead of 20% on petrol and 14.5% instead of 12% on diesel. According to a report, from next month, government oil marketing companies are preparing to revise the price of petrol and diesel every day.
