Person found killed behind Alephata bus stand in Junnar

Pune: An unidentified person was killed by smashing a cement block on his head behind Alephata bus tand on Wednesday, Alephata police inspector Madhukar Pawar said.

According to the information received, the body of an unidentified person was found in the open space behind the Alephata bus stand in Junnar taluka. As soon as the Alephata police came to know about the incident, police inspector Madhukar Pawar along with his colleagues rushed to the spot.

After preliminary investigation, the body of deceased has been shifted to Primary Health Center in Alephata for autopsy. Police are investigating CCTV footage from all the shops in the vicinity and the search for the identity of the deceased is on. Police Inspector Madhukar Pawar is investigating the case.
