People of This Village Prepared Corona Protective Masks Using Forest Leaves

The whole world is aware of the coronavirus, everyone knows how it spreads. There is  huge demand for corona virus masks, but not enough masks are available. Due to this, people of Chhattisgarh Bastar area are seen wearing masks made of leaves. These people belong to tribal category, those who have always lacked resources. Due to lack of resources, they have started using leaves to make masks.

When the meeting was convened in Antagarh of Kanker district, during this time people who came to attend there were wearing masks. After seeing this, other people of the village also started using these masks. Here people are not coming out of the houses and there is a ban on the arrival of any outsiders. On this, doctors say that this mask is fine to avoid disease, but it can cause difficulty in breathing. But the knowledge of tribal people should be counted.

According to the government, they should follow the advice and stay at home. Leaves have great importance in the life of the tribals of Bastar. They use leaves in everything they need. The tribal people here use Ebenaceae leaf.
