Payal Ghosh set to join Ramdas Athawale’s party RPI

Film actress Payal Ghosh, who accused film director Anurag Kashyap of alleged sexual exploitation, is set to join Union Minister Ramdas Athawale’s Republican Party of India (RPI) along with his lawyer. There was speculation about this for a long time. However, it has now been confirmed.

If sources are to be believed, she can be made the vice president of Mahila Morcha of RPI. At the same time, there is speculation about his lawyer being made the state vice-president in the Advocate Wing.

Anurag Kashyap was accused of ‘Me Too’
Payal Ghosh accused Anurag Kashyap of Me Too. In this connection, she has also registered a case at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai. However, Kashyap has denied these allegations outright.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was questioned by the Versova police on Thursday for about eight hours. Anurag has been accused of sexual harassment by the 30-year-old actress and asked the actress to join the investigation on Tuesday. On September 22, the police filed an FIR against Anurag Kashyap for sexual exploitation. The actress had told that all this happened to her when she approached Anurag for work.
Kashyap is charged under sections 376 (I) (rape), 354 (assault or criminal force with intent to humiliate a woman), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 342 (wrongful torture) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Anurag has denied these allegations.

Payal Ghosh was supported in the Me Too case by Union Social Justice Minister and RPI President Ramdas Athawale. He also met the actress. Not only this, he also met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari along with Ghosh. Where Payal demanded her safety and justice.
