Patanjali not a competition, boost to dairy sector: Mother Dairy Director

Patanjali, with its boosting in the market, under the leadership of Yoga Guru, Ram Dev Baba. The demand of Patanjali products is quite high among the citizens of nation. And, Patanjali has reduced price of its dairy products in order to sustain better in the market.

But, Mother Dairy remains unaffected of all these, is ready to welcome any competitior in the market, be it Patanjali or any other firm.

Recently after Patanjali announced the prices of its dairy products would decrease, Mother Dairy said, no matter which whichever firm lessens the price of dairy products, we won’t  lessen its price.

Meanwhile, a statement has been given by the director of Mother Dairy, which sells milk, curd and other dairy products which says that it will not compete against any other dairy product.

The director of Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Private Limited Saugata Mitra said, “Neither will we increase or decrease the price of cow obtained milk. We always welcome new competitors, and Patanjali’s coming into market, will give new opportunities and varieties to the buyers and will be a boost to Dairy sector.”

Adding further he said, “The financial condition of farmers and the villagers will improved due to the enhancement in this sector of market. If Patanjali sells milk at 40 Rs. per litre, Mother dairy will still sell milk at 42 Rs. per litre.

Saugata Mitra said, our customers have faith on us and are honest about our brand. Canned cow’s milk costs 10-12 lakhs per day basis. Currently, 7 lakhs litre milk is being sold per day and by the end of March it might reach to 8 lakh litres. A total of 36-37 litres of milk is the reach of Mother Dairy.
