‘Palat’ Scene of Shahrukh Khan’s ‘DDLJ’ Was Copied From This Hollywood Film
Mumbai : Shahrukh Khan and Kajol’s film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ is still in people’s favorite list. Shahrukh and Kajol’s romance won everyone’s heart. Many scenes and dialogues of this film were famous. One of these is this ‘Palat’ scene. But do you know this scene was copied from a Hollywood movie?
The ‘Palat’ scene of DDLJ is copied from the Hollywood film ‘In the Line of Fire’. The film was released in 1993 and 2 years later DDLJ.
DDLJ was directed by Aditya Chopra. He had admitted that he took inspiration from the Hollywood film. Aditya said, ‘When I was writing this scene of DDLJ, it suddenly came to my mind. I liked it and used it in my film.’
