One and half-year-old toddler thrown from 2nd floor on water dispute

It seems humanity is just a mere word nowadays because this incident is height of cruelty. In a bizzare incident, a one and half year old toddler was thrown down from 2nd floor of a multi-storey building after a dispute among a group of people in society.

The incident took place on 28 August, 2018 around 8 am in Hadapsar based multi storey building which is under a new government initiative called Mahada, which provided commoners with homes to stay.

A complaint was filed against the suspects on this case by the deceased’s father Sudhir Kamble(39) following which a case was registered against the suspects in the case are Ramesh Kunlik Londe(45) and a woman on 11 September, 2018 in Hadapsar Police station.

According to the information given by the police, the complainant and the suspects were neighbours in the same building. On a dispute to fill water from a public water tap, two neighbours ended up fighting amongst themselves. After the fight, to take revenge the suspect abducted the toddler who was playing outside the building, took her to the building’s second floor and threw her down causing her death.

The localities of the area were suspecting that the toddler might have crawled up the stairs, reached the 2nd floor of the building and might have fell down. But later on after researching and analyzing the situation, they came to the conclusion that this can’t be just an incident as the toddler would not be able to climb the stairs. This might be a case of murder.

After the inspection of police, the suspects were finally arrested by the police. And, the police is still probing into the case. The whole investigation is being carried out by Sub Inspector of Hadapsar police station, K S Deshmukh.

How can a person be so cruel, that out of anger can throw a child from such a height? The mentality of the people really needs to change!
