Noida: 4 killed in accident on Yamuna Expressway

Noida: Four people died on the spot and one was injured in a gruesome accident on Saturday morning on the Yamuna Expressway. An Innova car rammed into the roadways bus from behind after which the four people aboard the car were killed in the accident.

The car has been badly damaged. The police had to struggle a lot to get the car out from the bus. Police said that after much effort, the bodies were removed.

Police said that the incident happened at zero points at Yamuna Expressway. The area where this incident took place comes under the Beta police station.  The man injured in the accident has been admitted to a nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

Earlier,  a similar accident took place in Mainpuri where a procession-filled bus overturned uncontrollably.  Out of 25 wedding processions, 18 were injured and were sent to the district hospital in Mainpuri, from where four were referred to PGI Saifai due to the critical condition. DM confirmed 18 people were injured. The accident took place near Kosma village on Karhal Road in the Gheor area, this private bus was going to Etawah from the Ekka area of Firozabad district.
