Nirbhaya Case : ‘I wanted to die, but now after meeting my mother and father…’ Guilty Vinay Told His Pain to the President, Petition Rejected

New Delhi : Nirbhaya gangrape and murder convicts are adopting different types of tricks to escape the death sentence. In this sequence, convict Vinay Sharma had filed mercy petition to the President on Wednesday which has been rejected. This was the second mercy petition out of the four convicts, which had been filed with the President.  Earlier, the President had rejected Mukesh’s mercy petition.
In his mercy petition, Vinay said that he wants to tell the President how much mental harassment he had suffered while in jail. Vinay had requested the President to tell him whatever time is appropriate, so that his lawyer AP Singh can put his side before the President verbally.
Also Vinay Sharma in his mercy plea filed before the President, referring to meeting his mother and father, said that he did not want to live, but when he came to meet his parents and they said that son, we are alive seeing you. I have since abandoned the idea of ​​dying. Vinay said in the mercy petition that my father and mother said that you will have to stay alive for us.
