Nirbhaya Case : Accused Says They are Ready to Get Hanged if This will Stop the Rape in the Country

New Delhi : It is believed that Thursday will be the last day of life for the accused of Nirbhaya. Nearly seven and a half years later, a mother will get final justice whose daughter is no longer in this world. Mukesh’s application is to be heard today. When one of Nirbhaya’s convicts said that if the rapes would stop in this country after being hanged, then they are ready to get hanged.

Nirbhaya’s three convicts had last met their families. The families of the three convicts met in a closed room. Akshay’s family members are yet to meet him, his wife and parents have been invited to meet him. Akshay’s wife has also filed for divorce in the family court. Akshay’s wife says that she does not want to live as a widow.

It is being told that the families of Pawan Gupta and Vinay Sharma met on 29 February. Family and convicts kept crying during the meet. The prison staff appeared to console him. On March 2, Mukesh Singh met his family members. Mukesh remained lost during the meeting. During the meeting, Mukesh had told that he still has some legal option. The Delhi High Court on Wednesday dismissed Mukesh’s plea that he was not in Delhi during the Nirbhaya gang rape.
