NIA raids several locations across Delhi, Kerala and Karnataka in ISIS related cases

New Delhi : In a major crackdown on Islamic State (ISIS) modules, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted raids at several locations across Delhi, Kerala and Karnataka, said sources.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted searches at seven locations across India. Seven locations in Delhi, Karnataka and Kerala are being searched as per an NIA source.

The NIA team is searching two locations in Karnataka’s Bengaluru while raids are being carried out in Delhi’s Jafrabad area.

At the same time, four locations in Kerala’s Kunoor and Kochi are also being searched.

The agency sleuths are searching the premises of those people, who have been allegedly radicalised by the Islamic State groups, as per the source.

News agency IANS mentioned the source as saying, “The people whose premises are being searched can be arrested after their questioning.”
