Newly married Mumbai woman commit suicide in Pune

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE –  In a shocking incident a newly married 20-year-old girl has committed suicide on Saturday night at 8. The reason for the suicide is still uncovered. Police are investigating further in this case.

The name of the women is Pooja Doke who had come to Pune after marriage to stay with her mother for some days. She was just 20 years of age and her husband lives in Mumbai.  Her cousin brother has registered a complaint in Chakan police station. Rahul Aalhat is the name of the complainant.

Police officials told that Pooja was married to Kishor Doke since last 7 months. She then shifted to Mumbai with her. Pooja came to Pune to attend the last rituals of her uncle who lives in Pune. As soon as the last rituals of her Uncle were done. She left the place and went straight to her parents’ house, without telling anyone.

There she committed suicide by hanging herself to death.

The family members started searching for her after the funeral but they could not find her anywhere. So they went to her parent’s house and there they found her dead. She was being rushed to the nearby hospital then but the doctors declared her dead after the check-up.

Senior police inspector Sunil Pawar is investigating further in this matter.
