National award-winning film ‘Court’ fame actor Veera Sathidar dies from Corona

Mumbai : Actor Veera Sathidar, who played an important role in the National Film Award winning film ‘Court’, has passed away. Veera breathed his last at midnight Monday. Corona positive Veera was undergoing treatment at AIIMS. Veera was found corona positive 8 days ago and he was undergoing treatment in the hospital for 5 days.

Originally from Wardha district, Veera Sathidar grew up in Joginagar, Nagpur. He was poor but his mother gave him the strength to learn. His father worked at the railway station in Nagpur, while his mother worked as a construction worker.

The National Award winning film ‘Court’ later reached the Oscars. The film was nominated for an Oscar by India. ‘Court’ was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
