Nashik: Panchvati police fine bar owner for flouting COVID-19 protocols

Nashik: Panchavati police took action against a bar owner for flouting COVID-19 related protocols and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000.

 

Senior Police Inspector Ashok Bhagat, Inspector (Crime) Ashok Sakhare and his team had received information that New Punjab Restaurant and Bar at Malegaon did not adhere to social distancing protocols and did not wear masks.

 

Accordingly, the police raided the bar on Sunday (March 14) night and took punitive action against the bar owner and instructed him to follow the rules. Police have fined the bar owner of Rs 5,000. The action was taken by a team of Police Naik Ravi Adhav, Constable Raju Rathod, Yatin Pawar, Vijay Jarwal.
