Music Composer Wajid Khan Dies, Was Suffering From Kidney Disease & Corona

Mumbai : Music composer Wajid Khan, who was closest to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, has passed away. Wajid was admitted to a hospital in Chembur, Mumbai, due to a serious kidney problem. Wajid was on ventilator, on the afternoon of May 31, Wajid’s condition had become extremely serious and discussions had started regarding his serious health. Wajid, apart from kidney, was also suffering from heart problems for the last several years.

Kidney was Transplanted, Had Tested Corona Positive

According to a report, Wajid Khan was suffering from kidney ailments and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after his condition deteriorated. 42-year-old Wajid Khan was admitted to a hospital in Chembur, Mumbai. A few months ago, his kidney was transplanted. But his health was not well. A few days ago, Corona was also found infected in the investigation.

On Sunday evening, his condition deteriorated and despite all efforts, the doctors could not save him because his immunity level was greatly reduced due to kidney problem.

Composer Salim Merchant has confirmed the news of his death by tweeting. He wrote, ‘Devastated with the news of the passing away of my brother Wajid of Sajid -Wajid fame. May Allah give strength to the family 🙏 Safe travels bro @wajidkhan7. You’ve gone too soon. It’s a huge loss to our fraternity. I’m shocked & broken. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.’

At the same time, film actress Priyanka Chopra has mourned the death of Wajid Khan. Priyanka Chopra tweeted, ‘Terrible news. The one thing I will always remember is Wajid bhai’s laugh. Always smiling. Gone too soon. My condolences to his family and everyone grieving. Rest in peace my friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers. @ Wajidkhan7 ‘

Singer Malini Awasthi tweeted, this is shocking news !!!! beyond belief! Wajid Khan gone..what is happening! I pray for the departed soul. Singer Harshdeep Kaur tweeted: “My deep condolences to #WajidKhan Ji’s family. Still believed that he is no more. Have always seen him smiling and spreading joy around him. Huge loss to the music industry”

Sajid-Wajid duo has been composing music for Bollywood’s Dabang Salman Khan. Wajid Khan, along with Sajid, directed several songs for Salman. It includes famous songs of Dabangg.

Sajid-Wajid started his career in 1998 with the Salman Khan starrer ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’. After this, the pair gave music for hit films one after another. This includes films like Chori Chori, Hello Brother, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Partner, Wanted, Dabangg (1,2 and 3). Sajid-Wajid duo recently composed ‘Bhai-Bhai’ for Salman Khan. Wajid Khan also sang for a film Partner in 2008 as a singer.
