Mumbai COVID19 death figure drops to single digit for the first time since March

Mumbai : Corona cases have decreased in many states amid alerts issued across the country regarding new strains of coronavirus. Mumbai is one of those states where Corona wreaked havoc in March last year. But now cases of corona are gradually decreasing in the state. Only three deaths have been recorded in Mumbai on Sunday due to corona, which is the lowest since March.

BMC Commissioner Iqbal Chahal said that this has become possible due to the hard work of the state government and BMC. He saluted all the doctors and assistant front-line workers and media, who created positive awareness, this has been possible only by the efforts of all these.

On the other hand, BMC has given information about Mission Zero by tweeting. BMC tweeted that, “Sadly, three people died due to coronavirus in the city today. However, this figure of deaths is the lowest since March, BMC said that we appeal Mumbaikars  to join Mission Zero. We achieved it in Dharavi with the help of selfless efforts of doctors and other front-line warriors and we can do this for the entire city with the help of Mumbaikars.

Significantly, since the arrival of a new strain of coronavirus in Britain, new cases of corona have also been reported in India amid a worldwide outcry. So far, cases of coronavirus have been reported in many states. At the same time, the emergency use of two Corona vaccines in India has been approved.
