Modi Government’s New Plan For Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar-Jammu Will Become Hi-Tech

New Delhi: The Narendra Modi government of the Center is preparing a new plan for Jammu and Kashmir. The Union Urban Development Ministry, along with the Jammu and Kashmir administration, is busy finalizing the draft of this plan. In this new plan, there is a preparation to take Jammu and Kashmir on the path of development. A new plan being prepared by the Central Government for Jammu and Kashmir will be announced soon. However, not much insight has been received about this plan yet.

According to the information received, in this new plan of the Modi government, a framework preparation has been done to create a new Srinagar. The new Srinagar will be built keeping in mind the architects of Kashmir. The new Srinagar will be Hi-tech. Plans are also being made for Dal Lake. Apart from this, there is also a plan to create a new Jammu. Hitech Srinagar and Jammu will be made keeping in mind the modern technology and high standards of environment.

A year has been completed since the Article 370 removed from Jammu and Kashmir. On August 5 last year, Article 370 was removed and Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were declared separate union territories. With the removal of the article, there is now rapid development. The Union Home Ministry had recently given information about the development in Jammu and Kashmir during the last one year.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said that during the last 1 year, many such works have been done in Jammu and Kashmir, which has benefited the people there. The Home Ministry said that in Jammu and Kashmir, refugees, Gorkhas, sweepers and women marrying outside the state were discriminated against on government jobs, property rights, but now this law has been abolished.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said that 500 million rupees have been provided under the Mission Organic Development Initiative (MODI) to develop Ladakh as a fully organic sector by 2025. The Home Ministry said that a total of 74.1 percent polling was recorded in the panchayat elections, which strengthened the democracy at the grassroots level. The state has held panchayat elections after a gap of 7 years.

The Home Ministry said that work has started on the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Jammu and Kashmir and the campus of IIT Jammu has started in the state.
