MCOCA action taken against Abhishek Jadhav and his aides; 20th such action by Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumaarr

Action under MCOCA has been taken against Abhishek Rohidas Jadhav (23), a resident of Ganesh Nagar, Tanmay Tanjai Itkar (19), a resident of Narhe Road, Ishwar Khandulal Chavan (18), a resident of Kothrud, Sujal Sanjay Kadam (18), a resident of New Shivne, Piyush Satish Jadhav (20), a resident of Warje and their two minor aides. The accused had formed a gang. They had killed Nandu Jadhav by using a sharp weapon in February 2023. An FIR of initially, attempt to murder and later murder has been registered at the Alankar police station.
The police have arrested the accused. During the investigation, it was found that the gang was indulging in crimes for their financial benefit. The gang has frequently committed serious crimes. Senior PI Rajendra Sahane had sent a proposal of taking action against the accused under MCOCA to Addl CP Rajendra Dahale through DCP Suhail Sharma. After examining the proposal, action has been taken against the accused under MCOCA. Police commissioner Ritesh Kumaarr has so far taken action against 20 gangs under MCOCA after taking charge.
The action was taken by a team of officials including Senior PI Rajendra Sahane, PI (crime) Sangeeta Patil, PSI Saptale and other policemen under the guidance of Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Rajendra Dahale, DCP Suhail Sharma and ACP Rajendra Galande.
