Man sentenced to 10-yr RI for sexual assault on minor girl

Pune :  NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | Additional Sessions Judge KK Jahagirdar has sentenced a man, who sexually assaulted a minor girl on the pretext of helping her, to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000. The name of the convict is Haridas Balasaheb Takle (26). (Pune Crime News)

Takle had lured the minor girl on the pretext of helping her. He took her to Kolhapur and Alandi area and sexually assaulted her. After receiving a complaint, the police arrested Takle. A charge sheet was filed against him.

On behalf of the government, Adv Suchitra Narote argued the case in the court. The testimony of 10 witnesses was recorded in the case. The testimony of the victim’s father, brother and lodge manager proved crucial during the trial.

Haridas Takle was married. He lured the minor girl on the pretext of helping her. And then assaulted her. During the hearing of the case, the court took into account testimony and evidence. Takle has been sentenced to 10 years of hard labor and a fine of Rs 10,000.

The court has ordered a fine of Rs. 10,000 to the victim.
