Man cheats customer by causing trading loss of ₹99 lakh; FIR registered at Chandan Nagar police station
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | An FIR of cheating has been registered against a man for not returning the lost money and the percentage as per the agreement after a trading loss and cheating of ₹99 lakh. The FIR has been registered after carrying out a probe based on a complaint. (Pune Crime News)
The accused has been identified as Nitin Jagannath Gote, a resident of Haveli taluka. A 51-year-old resident of Kharadi has lodged a complaint at the Chandan Nagar police station. From February 7, 2022 till the period before registering an FIR, the accused had told the complainant that he should carry out trading through him.
He also told him that he will pay a monthly interest of 10 per cent on the amount given to him by the complainant. The complainant transferred ₹1 crore to the demat account of the accused. The accused caused a loss of ₹99.7 lakh in the trading. As per the agreement, the accused did not return the money lost and percentage and cheated the complainant.
Since the accused was not returning the money, the complainant submitted an application to the police. An FIR of cheating has been registered. PSI Ghodke is carrying out a probe in the case.
