Man brutally kills couple with pick-axe in Dapodi
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A double murder in Dapodi area shook the city. The accused was taken into custody by the police when he was walking on the road with a blood-stained pick-axe. The murdered husband and wife have been identified as Shankar Narayan Kate (60) and Sangita Kate (55). The arrested accused has been identified as Pramod Magrudkar (47). A case has been registered against the accused at the Bhosari Police Station. (Pune Crime News)
According to the preliminary details received, the accused killed the couple with a pick-axe. The accused inflicted injuries on the Kate couple while they were at home. The incident came to light around 10 pm on Saturday. In this incident, the accused himself was injured and citizens saw him walking on the road with the tool in his hand.
The citizens caught him. They called the Bhosari police who immediately rushed to the spot and arrested the accused. The Bhosari police are investigating the case. The accused Pramod had recently come from Delhi.
