Maharashtra : Pro-Khalistan terrorist Sarabjit Singh Kirat arrested from Nanded

Mumbai : Pro-Khalistani terrorist Sarabjit Singh Kirat has been arrested from Nanded district of Maharashtra. The CID team of Punjab and Maharashtra Police on Sunday arrested him in a joint operation, but it was not disclosed as investigations into anti-India activities continued. The arrested terrorist is from Ludhiana district of Punjab. The police issued a statement informing it.

Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Police, with the support of the Punjab Police, succeeded in arresting pro-Khalistan terrorists Paramjit Singh Pammah and Jagdev Singh alias Jagga, a partner of Maltani Singh. He was on his way to Lucknow from Punjab via Lakhimpur. The Punjab Police and UP Police caught him at Secretariat intersection Sector C Jankipuram on Monday afternoon. Police recovered mobile and eight hundred rupees from him. Jagdev Singh alias Jagga Putra Mukhtiar Singh was wanted in many cases of anti-national activities and the Punjab Police was on the lookout.

The Lucknow police arrested Khalistani terrorist Jagdev Singh alias Jagga, who fled from Amritsar in connection with terrorist financing from abroad and smuggling of goods from Madhya Pradesh. Jagroop Singh, a partner of terrorist Jagga, was arrested by the State Special Operations Cell of Amritsar on Sunday. Jagga then escaped from Amritsar and was searching for his hideout. After the input from Jagroop Singh, the Lucknow Police was informed by the police officers of the Special Operations Cell. On the other hand, Punjab Police left for Amritsar on Monday evening taking Jagga on transit remand.
