Maharashtra man kills 20-month-old daughter by smashing her head into wall over Rs 5

Gondia : A heartbreaking case has come to light in Gondia district of Maharashtra. Here a man killed his one and a half years old daughter over just five rupees. The wife gave the information of the case to the police, after which the accused was arrested. After getting information about this incident, the residents living nearby are also shocked.

According to the information, this incident is reported from Lonar village in Gondia district.  28-year-old Vivek lives with his wife and one and a half year old daughter Vaishnavi. It is being told that on Tuesday (February 2) Vivek returned from work in the evening. Vaishnavi was crying at that time. The wife asked Vivek for five rupees, so that she could get Khaja (sweet made from flour) to quite the daughter.

It is being told that Vivek allegedly killed his daughter in a fit of rage after his wife told him that the child was crying and asking for ‘Khaja’, a sweet snack made of wheat flour.

He allegedly picked up the child and smashed her head on a door repeatedly. His wife said that she tried hard to stop Vivek, but he didn’t.

It is alleged that after killing the daughter, the accused also tried to kill his wife. However, she escaped and reached the police station. The woman gave the information of the case to the police, after which the accused was arrested. The police team took the girl to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

According to the information, Vivek got married in the year 2018. He is addicted to alcohol. Due to this, the woman left home after a few days of marriage and started living separately. However, a year ago they reached an agreement and the two began living together.
