LPG prices may increase by Rs 30 in Jaipur

New Delhi: The price of LPG may increase by Rs 30 in Jaipur city on Tuesday (December 1).

The Oil Companies did not increase the price of domestic gas cylinders last month, but the price of commercial cylinders were increased by 25 rupees. Now once again the domestic gas cylinder can be expensive by 25 to 30 rupees. On the other hand, diesel prices which were around Rs 70 at the time of lock down have now reached Rs 82 per litre. At the same time, petrol has reached 90 rupees per litre.

Kartikeya Gaur, general secretary of LPG Federation of Rajasthan, said that there are around 18 lakh consumers of domestic gas in the city. 12.50 lakh cylinders are consumed every month and commercial cylinders supply around 75 thousand. Demand has increased due to the opening of hotels and restaurants. However, the price of gas cylinders is to be revised on Tuesday, which may increase by about 25 to 30 rupees.
