Leopard In Pune | Leopard enters house in Adivasi area of Ambegaon taluka; Women free themselves from its clutches

MANCHAR,  Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Leopard In Pune | The sudden arrival of a leopard in an Adivasi area in Ambegaon taluka terrorised the locals. The leopard entered the house of Ramchandra Ganpat Masle in Patan area of Ambegaon taluka and only women were present in the house. However, the women managed to free themselves from the leopard’s clutches. The incident took place at 10 am. The women heaved a sigh of relief after their lives were saved. (Leopard In Pune)

A leopard entered the house of Musle in the morning. Since the leopard was injured, it was sitting in a corner. The leopard was wet and it was visible that it was sick because of its rotting tail. The women became panicky but they managed to save themselves without making a noise.

 

There was an atmosphere of terror in the area because of the arrival of a leopard. Since there was no mobile connectivity, it created problems. Since the leopard was injured and sick, it was difficult to remove him from the house. However, it was trapped by a rescue team of the Forest Department and locals. Regional Forest officer MB Gargote said that the leopard would be shifted to Manikdoh Leopard Centre for treatment.

The Forest Department was informed that a leopard had entered a house. The Forest Department made herculean efforts and the leopard was tranquilised and captured. Since sowing of rice is underway, there are very few people in the house. Local residents say that if the presence of leopards increases in the area, the situation may become difficult.
