The customers of Dena Bank, Vijaya Bank, Corporation Bank, Andhra Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, United Bank, and Allahabad Bank will be affected by this. So if you have an account with any of these 7 banks, then quickly find out your new checkbook and IFSC code from the bank branch.

From 1 April 2020, the government merged the three banks of the country, Punjab National Bank, Oriental Bank of Coors, and United Bank of India. Apart from this, Dena and Vijaya Bank were merged with Bank of Baroda and it is effective from 1 April 2019. Apart from this, Syndicate Bank has been merged with Canara Bank, Andhra Bank, and Corporation Bank with Union Bank of India and Allahabad Bank with Indian Bank.
