In this interview, the actress spoke openly about her journey from her breakup to marriage to Saif Ali Khan. Talking to Shahid Kapoor about the breakup, Kareena said, ‘Luck has its own plans and life goes on accordingly. Since the shooting of Jab We Met to middle of the film Tashan, a lot happened, after which we separated our paths.’
Kareena Kapoor’s character in Jab We Met was Geet. Referring to Geet about her breakup, Kareena said that a lot of similar things were happening in her real life as Geet’s life. She said, ‘It was becoming very difficult for me to handle everything personally and professionally at that time. If you will see that the life of Geet changes in the film after the second half, the same happened in my life when the film was made.’
Not only this, Kareena said, ‘I was more excited about my role, figure at the time of Tashan. Tashan had changed my life because through this film I met my life partner.’
Kareena and Saif married in the year 2012 and in 2016, Kareena gave birth to Taimur Ali Khan. At the same time, Shahid married Meera Rajput in 2015 and both have a daughter Misha and son Zain.
