Kareena Kapoor ready to shoot for Angrezi medium

Npnews24 online: The Veere Di Wedding actress who calls herself a ‘’huge fan’’ of Irrfan, earlier opened up about her role in the much-awaited film Angrezi medium, saying,’’ It will be a bizzare experience. Kapoor Khan will be sharing screen with Irrfan for the first time in the film Angrezi Medium, which is a sequel to the 2017 hit Hindi Medium.

Kareena, has been roped in to play the role of a cop in the film, after shoot wrapped exactly a month ago in Udaipur now team will head to Mumbai to shoot for Kareena’s role.

“Whether it’s Homi (Adajania, the director) or it’s Irrfan and Deepak (Dobriyal), I think it’s all a different world for me to be a part of, so that would be interesting,” Kareena said in an interview.

Rumours were doing rounds that Kareena will be wearing khaki in Angrezi Medium. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers whether she is indeed playing a cop.

As per the report, Hindi Medium 2 has been titled Angrezi Medium for a reason. Directed by Homi Adajania, Angrezi Medium will hit the screens in 2020.It is a sequel to Irrfan’s 2017 film Hindi Medium, which was directed by Saket Choudhary. The actor shared screen space with Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, who played the role of his wife.
