Mumbai : Rishi Kapoor, one of Bollywood’s most loved actors, said goodbye to this world on Thursday. He was suffering from cancer for the last two years and breathed his last on Thursday at a hospital in Mumbai. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also said goodbye to Rishi Kapoor in his style.

Salman Khan while paying homage to Rishi Kapoor said that ‘Rest in peace chintu sirrr, kaha suna maaf , strength , peace n light to family n friends…’

What was the Matter?
For those unversed, Rishi and Salman were not on good terms for a while. According to reports, prior to his Bollywood debut, Kapoor’s son Ranbir met Salman at a renowned pub in Mumbai, during a party. They soon got into a heated argument and Khan slapped the Kapoor lad.

Ranbir, feeling embarrassed, left the party instantly. A follow-up report suggested that Salim Khan called up Rishi Kapoor and apologised on Salman’s behalf.

Apart from Salman Khan, Bollywood star Aamir Khan also paid tribute to Rishi Kapoor. Aamir Khan wrote that ‘We have lost one of the greats today. An amazing actor, a wonderful human being, and 100% a child of Cinema. Thank you for all the joy you brought to our lives. Thank you for being the actor and human being that you were. You will be badly missed Rishiji.’

When Irfan Khan died on Wednesday, Bollywood was still in complete shock. The Khan trio of Bollywood i.e. Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir also paid a homage to Irrfan.

Now, today, when 24 hours have not even completed, the departure of the legendary actor like Rishi Kapoor has brought a deep grief. Everyone has moist eyes in Bollywood and is bidding farewell to Rishi Kapoor.

Due to Coronavirus, there is a lockdown in the country at this time and that is why the crowd was not able to attend the funeral. Kapoor family had also appealed to the fans to follow the rules.
