Journalist Arnab Goswami Gets 2 Notices from Mumbai Police; Said – Also Show Speed in Investigation of Attack

Mumbai : The Mumbai Police has sent two notices in 12 hours to Arnab Goswami, editor of Republic Channel, for his comments on Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Notice said that police wants to interrogate Arnab immediately. The TV journalist has said about the police action against him – Mumbai Police should also expedite the investigation into the attack on me.

On Sunday, the Mumbai police asked Goswami to join the investigation of the case of Remark on Sonia Gandhi under Section 41 of the CRPC. This FIR has been given by Congress Minister Nitin Raut.

According to news agency ANI, the complaint was registered in Nagpur, Maharashtra, but the Supreme Court had asked to transfer the case to Mumbai. According to the information, Arnab is to appear before the Mumbai Police at 10 am on Monday.
