Jamner: A 15-year-old died by suicide in Maldabhadi on Monday (February 8) after writing a suicide note, the police said. While investigating the matter, the police recovered a suicide note which mentioned about her feelings to a boy named Rishikesh. The police have registered a case against Akshay Chopade and Rishikesh (both residents of Navi Dabhadi) after Seema’s uncle Rupesh Vasant Kharat lodged a complaint. Akshay Chopade was found walking suspiciously outside Seema’s house on Monday, the police said. Seema Santosh Wankhede, a 15-year-old girl was studying at New English Medium in Maldabhadi. Seema is survived by her parents and a younger brother. Her father lives in Kolhapur for work, while her mother works as a farm laborer in the village. According to the information received, Seema’s grandmother Bindabai Ukha Kharat had come home to see if Seema had returned home. That time when her grandmother entered the house, she found Seema dead. After receiving information about the incident, the police sent the body to Jamner Sub-District Hospital for autopsy.
