I will hang myself in Public: Gambhir

Npnews24 online:  Day after AAP accused BJP’s Gautam Gambhir in the involvement of distributing of “obscene and derogatory” pamphlets against Atishi; the cricketer-turned-politicians said if charges are proved, he will hang himself in public.

The BJP’s East Delhi candidate, Gautam Gambhir, dared Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to prove charges against him or quit, If Arvind Kejriwal can prove that I have anything to do with this pamphlet filth, and then I will hang myself in public. Otherwise @ArvindKejriwal should quit politics. Accepted?” Gautam Gambhir tweeted.

Atishi once again slammed Gautam Gambhir for failing to condemen the “sickening” note. Atishi said,’’ Gambhir should have been the first to demand an investigation into the origin of the controversial note.

On Gautam Gambhir denying AAP’s allegations and instead accusing the party AAP of circulating pamphlets, Atishi also said that denying and condemning were different things.

“It is sickening to say that my party AAP did it. But this is the exact kind of politics that the BJP indulges in,” Atishi added.
