Husband Angry on Wife Stranded at Maternal Home Due to Lockdown Marries to Girlfriend, Husband Arrested
Patna : People are troubled by the lockdown across the country due to Corona infection and every day disturbing news comes out, while a shocking case has come out from Bihar. A man angry due to his wife stranded in maternal home due to nationwide lockdown has shocked everyone. The husband married his girlfriend. When the wife came to know about this, she lodged a complaint at Dulhin Bazar police station in Patna. Now the police has arrested the husband and sent him to jail.
The incident is from the Dulhin Bazar police station area of Paliganj in Patna district. According to the information, Dheeraj Kumar, a resident of Bharatpura, was married a few years ago in the village of Purana in Karpi police station area. Dheeraj’s wife went to her maternal home a few days ago due to some work. During this time the lockdown was declared, due to which she could not come back to her husband in Bharatpura. Angered by this, Dheeraj Kumar decided to have a second marriage. He remarried to his girlfriend at Raghunathpur in Khirimore police station area.
As soon as Dheeraj’s first wife Gudiya Devi came to know about this, she reached Dheeraj’s house with her relatives and created a ruckus. After that, there was a fight between both families. Dheeraj also has a 10-year-old son. Gudiya Devi has accused her husband and father-in-law of dowry harassment and accused them of conspiring to make Dheeraj’s second marriage. Police is investigate the case.
