Hotelier tries to kill customers for speaking loudly; owner, waiter held; four booked

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime | A shocking case has come to light, where a hotel owner and a waiter tried to kill the friends who were having dinner in the hotel. (Pune Crime)

Nishant Dhananjay Jadhav (25) from Dhankawadi has lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station. Based on that, the police have arrested hotel owner Manohar Raghunath Mangde (44) from Mangdewadi, waiter Rushikesh Jaisingh Deshmukh (30) from Mangdewadi, Katraj. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against Akshay and Ajit Nimbalkar. The incident took place at Malhar Family Restaurant in Mangdewadi on Friday at 11:45 PM.

According to the details provided by the police, the complainant and his friends Prasad Marne, Rakesh Humbare, Mayur Dhumal and three others were having dinner at the Malhar family restaurant. While they were joking loudly, the hotel waiter told them not to shout. They still chatted loudly. Then Manohar Mangde, the owner of the restaurant, came and asked to reduce the noise. Then there was an argument between him and Prasad Marne, Rakesh Humbere. Then Mangde came with a knife. He stabbed the complainant on the neck with the knife. But he missed it. Later, his right rib was seriously hurt.

Prasad Marne was seriously injured by stabbing him in the waist. Waiters at the hotel Deshmukh, Akshay hit Prasad Marne with a wooden stick and seriously injured him. Rakesh Humbare and Mayur Dhumal were also hit on the head with a wooden stick and injured. While the complainant and his friends were fleeing from there, Ajit Nimbalkar, who came to the restaurant in a Fortuner car, hit the complainant’s friend Sunny Satyarthi with a wooden stick and seriously injured him and broke the bike of the complainant.

The police have registered a case of attempt to murder and arrested two persons.
