“Honey Trap is not the culture of Maharashtra”: MP Supriya Sule on Dhananjay Munde case

Mumbai: MP and NCP leader Supriya Sule expressed her views on the rape allegations leveled against NCP leader Dhananjay Munde. MP Sule said it was the responsibility of the police to find out what happened in someone’s personal life. She stated, “This issue is over now. While there are more important issues before the state and everyone should pay attention to them”.

Before leaving for Mahalaxmi Temple in Kolhapur, she was talking to reporters at a government rest house and said that ‘Honey trap is not the culture of Maharashtra’ when asked about her reaction to the case.

The BJP Pradesh Mahila Morcha on Monday staged a statewide agitation demanding the resignation of Social Justice Minister and NCP leader Dhananjay Munde following allegations leveled against him a few days back. However, Renu Sharma, who had put rape allegations against Munde, has withdrawn the rape complaint

Renu Sharma citied that she was withdrawing the complaint due to family reasons, while withdrawing the complaint. It is learned that Renu Sharma’s lawyers have also dropped the case.
