Heat Knocks Amidst Lockdown, Many Cities in India Crossed 40° C

New Delhi: On one side, the country is under Lockdown because of COVID-19 and people are imprisoned in homes. The heat in the plains has reached its maximum and not only that, temperature has gone beyond 40 degrees C in many cities of the country. The temperature is increasing rapidly in almost all the states of the country. However, a western disturbance is coming from April 5 and due to this, rain in some states will give relief from the heat.

Khargon of Madhya Pradesh and Kadapa of Andhra are the Hottest|

According to Skymet Weather, a private weather forecasting agency, temperature crossed 40 degrees in 10 cities of the country on Thursday. At the top of this list is Khargon, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.5 degrees on Thursday. Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh, where the temperature was 41.2 degrees. Tuni of Andhra Pradesh is at number three with 40.8 degrees. The same situation is of Bhadrachalam in Telangana, Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh, Malegaon in Maharashtra, Nandyal in Andhra Pradesh, Nandigram, Gulbarga in Karnataka and finally Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh which recorded the temperature above 40 degrees C.
