Gujarat: Surendranagar Patidar Charitable Trust donates building for COVID Care Center

Ahmedabad : Coronavirus cases are growing continuously in Ahmedabad after the Diwali festival. There have been fears of a shortage of beds in the city’s private and government hospitals. The AMC and the state government have then converted the building of private hotels and social organizations into a COVID care center.

The second wave of coronavirus is going on in Ahmedabad city. Ahmedabad city has seen an increase in the number of cases of corona after Diwali festival. The lack of beds in private hospitals in Ahmedabad city has forced the government to declare the building of private hotels and social organizations as a COVID care center. The hostel building managed by Surendranagar Patidar Charitable Trust has been transferred as Covid Care Center.

The Patidar community came forward and requested the AMC to set up a Covid care center here. The five-storey building with 100 beds has been opened for the treatment of Covid patients. Talking to Rameshbhai Patel, Director, Surendranagar Patidar Charitable Trust, all the rooms in the five-storey building have been equipped with modern facilities by the society. A team of doctors and nurses will be present 24 hours a day. There is also a Covid Care Center with CCTV cameras and adequate fire facilities on all floors. This is a treatment for families who cannot have isolation at home. Of which only a nominal charge will have to be paid. Excellent arrangements have been made for a two time’s meal.
