Gujarat government reduces price, COVID19 RTPCR test to cost only Rs 800

Gandhinagar: After Delhi and Rajasthan, Gujarat government has also reduced the price of Corona RT PCR test. The Gujarat government has announced the prices of RT PCR tests in private labs. Now you have to pay Rs 800 in a private lab and Rs 1100 at home. Earlier the lab charges were Rs 1500. Also, if they come home for the test, 2000 rupees were charged. However, the government has slashed test prices. So it would be cheaper for a person with corona symptoms to be tested in a private laboratory.

Health Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has announced a reduction in the price of Corona test. This price will be effective from today.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the state government with the help of the health department was able to reduce it. Even in the meeting with the Chief Minister, discussions are being held on Covid frequently. The state government does not want to ignore it at all. The number of patients is increasing after Diwali. A 336 bed facility with oxygen has been increased. A facility has been set up for Covid patients with dialysis.
