The film has already been made tax-free by the Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar governments.
Kumar, the Patna-based educationist, feels the move will help take the film’s message of the value of merit and equal opportunities to all more teachers and students.

“Many thanks Hon’ble Gujarat CM Vijay Rupaniji for making ‘Super 30’ tax-free. Your kind gesture will help students and teachers watch the film and take its message. Thanks a lot,” Kumar tweeted on Tuesday evening.
