Grandson of Mahatma Gandhi Targets the Central Government for the Murder of Dr Dabholkar

“Such rational thinkers who are been gun down cannot be killed by a single individual or group but such muscle powers are backed by political leaders as well as it seems that the Government is backing them. Its hard to digest that after a span of five years such culprits are been zero down it seems as if the mischievous leaders who were supporting them first tampered the evidence and post it they are now sending their pawn ahead,” said Tushar Gandhi the great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.

Gandhi who was in Pune to address a protest rally “Jawab Do” organized at Sane Guruji Smarak, Parvati in Pune.  On Monday followed by a program “Vyarth Naa Ho Balidaan”.  In this event, Mukta daughter of Dr. Dabholkar, Megha daughter-in-law of  Govid Pansare, Tushar Gandhi, Grand-son of Mahatma Gandhi and members of Andhshradhdha Nirmulan Samiti were present. Considering the four murders of rational thinker including Dr Narendra Dabholkar who was killed by two motorcycles borne at Omkareshwar Bridge on August 20, 2013, In the year 2015, on February 16, Comrade Govind Pansare was also brutally attacked while he was on a morning walk with his wife near his residence. On February 20, 2015, Pansare was declared dead. And in 2017, two murders took place in Dharwad and Bangalore. This time the victims were M M Kalburgi and senior journalist Gauri Lankesh.

Targeting the investigation process further, Tushar Gandhi said that the suspect has been arrested after five years. Many leaders are also involved in this and by the time of five years, they isolated the proofs. The Sanathan sanstha alone cannot take these huge steps without the support of any political party.

He further added that in our country, if you raise a question on anything, they declare you a traitor. Those who have a gun in hands has the power. Those who is sitting wearing a mask, we will have to bring them in the light.

Amol Palekar, Indian actor-director said, “Only two people have been arrested in last five years after the murder of Dr. Dabholkar, the government has the need to reach them as early as possible. They are trying to depress the representation of thoughts. This started from the murder of Mahatma Gandhi and led by the murders of Dr. Dabholkar, Comrade Govind Pansare, M M Kalburgi and Gauri Lankesh. We should not remain silent. Why are they trying to create a fearful environment? I want the answer to why they do not want us to question?”

Mukta, Daughter of  Dr. Dabholkar said, “the “Jawab Do” protest will be continued until the mastermind of this murder will not be arrested. These murders are a threat to democracy. According to investigating agencies, these murders have a link and in this situation, it is very much necessary to find the mastermind of this case.”

It’s been five years since the Crusader of anti-superstition Dr Dabholkar was shot dead by unknown bike-borne and one suspect has been arrested of this case from Aurangabad in Maharashtra named Sachin Andure. It is been claimed by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) earlier had arrested ENT specialist doctor Virendrasinh Tawde who is considered to be the kingpin of the murder plot which was laid by him since 2009. Such murder case has been registered with Deccan Gymkhana police station which was initially investigating the case by Pune city police crime branch and in 2015 such was handled by CBI which is been monitored by Bombay High court.
