Goon trying to sell Mephedrone arrested by Anti-Narcotics Cell
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A goon who had come to Kashewadi to sell Mephedrone was arrested by officials of unit 2 of Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC). They have seized 10 gm Mephedrone worth ₹2 lakh and a mobile worth ₹10,000 from him. (Pune Crime News)
PI Sunil Thopte of unit 2 of ANC and other officials were patrolling in the limits of Khadak police station. Police Nail Sahil Shaikh and policeman Azim Shaikh came to know that Kanifnath Vishnu Naidu was going to visit Kashewadi to sell some drugs. The police laid a trap in the area. Naidu was apprehended and when he was searched, 10 gm Mephedrone worth ₹2 lakh was found on him. He was arrested and the drugs were seized. An FIR has been registered against him at the Khadak police station.
The action was taken by PI Sunil Thopte, PSI DL Chavan, police constable Santosh Deshpande, Police Naik Shelke, Sahil Shaikh, policeman Azim Shaikh, Nitin Jagdale and Yuvraj Kamble under the guidance of Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Amol Zende and ACP Narayan Shirgaonkar.
