Gold worth 40 lakh Rs. Looted from at keeping owner’s son on gunpoint

Aligarh: A fearless miscreants looted 800 grams of gold jewellery worth 40 lakh rupees. and 40 thousand rupees from the jewellery showroom on the strength of arms.

The Sundar jewellery showroom is located on Khair Road in Sarsaul. The owner Sundar Verma and his son Yash Verma watched entire incident happening in front of them on the point of gun.

The three youth entered the showroom as customers. The three youths subtly put on masks and took out arms. The gunman took the owner’s son on gunpoint and looted the gold said to be worth about Rs 40 lakh.

A complaint of robbery has been filed with Bannadevi area police station. IG Piyush Mordia, SSP Muniraj G., SP Crime Dr. Arvind, SP City Abhishek and other officials reached the spot and took information about the incident. Police continued to interrogate the showroom owner on various aspects till late in the evening.

Muniraj, SSP, Aligarh said that the matter is very serious. The accused will be soon arrested as several teams have been formed as part of investigation.
