‘Gandi Baat’ singer Mika Singh arrested for alleged sexual harassment in Dubai

NP NEWS 23 ONLINE- When #MeToo is round the clock and is trending in the country of India, wherein various Bollywood celebrities are sharing their #MeToo stories over social media and opening up, famous Bollywood singer Mika Singh has been arrested in Dubai under the charges of sexual harassment.

According to sources, one of the members of Mika Singh’s team revealed that a 17-year-old girl Brazilian had accused him of sexual harassment.

Mika Singh who had gone to the United Arab Emirates to perform a Bollywood event is now under police custody and is being interrogated by police.

Singh was arrested by police during the midnight at around 3 am on Friday from Bur Dubai after a 17-year-old girl accused him of sending an inappropriate picture.

The singer earlier shared an Instagram post on his account which was a video exclusive from Dubai. Now, when he is arrested, the police is enquiring about it.

The Bollywood singer has sung many songs in various other Bollywood movies like Subah Hone Na De, Gandi Baat, Sexy Baliye, and other Punjabi Songs.

Another famous singer of Bollywood, Kailash Kher was also alleged of sexual harassment recently during the #MeToo trend. In his case, a female journalist had accused him of sexual harassment.

Earlier, Kher was also seen allegedly kissing a female in a photograph which went quite viral over the social media.

The list is never-ending, as Anu Mallik, the famous Bollywood music composer was alleged of sexual harassment by singer Shweta Pandit. Singers like Abhijeet Bhattacharya was also earlier allegations of sexual misconduct.

Police are yet to ascertain the crime and get a confession of the alleged crime from Mika Singh while the police are going through all his details and his mobile records for further evidence.
