Former MLA Mohan Joshi lauds vision of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Congress Mohan Joshi | The OBC Department of Pune City Congress Committee had organised a programme at Mahatma Phule Wada at Ganj Peth on the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and former MLA Mohan Joshi and MLA Ravindra Dhangekar garlanded the statues of Mahama Phule and Savitribai Phule. “Mahama Jyotiba Phule had understood the importance of education and ensured that the OBCs and women were provided education and this has helped in upliftment of the society. Because of vision of Mahatma Phule, women are leading in all fields. His work cannot be forgotten,” said Mohan Joshi.
Ravindra Dhangekar distributed various books highlighting achievements of Mahatma Phule and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Shiv Sena City Unit Chief Sanjay More, Sanjay Balgude, Balasaheb Amrale, Shabir Khan, Ayub Pathan, Sunil Pandit, Chetan Agrwal, Ravi Patole, Suresh Kamble, Raju Devkar, Ganesh Salunkhe, Datta Manjrekar, Rupesh Pawar, Akshay Navgire, Faizan Ansari, Sourabh Amrale and all office-bearers of OBC Department were present.
The programme was organised by city unit chief of OBC department Prashant Surse.
