Former Indian captain Kapil Dev admitted to hospital after suffering a heart attack

New Delhi: Former India cricket captain Kapil Dev has suffered a heart attack after which he has been admitted to a hospital in Delhi. Media reports are saying that Kapil Dev has undergone angioplasty and at present his condition is stable. After the news of Kapil’s heart attack came to light, Indian cricket fans are praying for his speedy recovery on social media.

Under the captaincy of Kapil Dev, the Indian team first won the World Cup in 1983. Kapil Dev is counted among the brilliant all-rounders of the world. Apart from scoring 5,248 runs in 131 Tests for India, Kapil Dev has taken 434 wickets. Kapil Dev also has 3,783 runs and 253 wickets in 225 ODIs.
