Former Congress MLA Shirish Chaudhari’s sister demised in car accident

Npnews24 Online Jalgaon: In a critical car accident, Snehja Rupavate (65), the sister if former MLA of Raver Shirish Chaudhari met an untimely demise. Rupavate was daughter of late Congress leader Madhukar Chaudhari.

After attending the wedding of Chaudhari’s daughter on Saturday, Rupavate was returning to Mumbai with a few relatives. The car she was travelling in met with an accident near Paladhi Fata in Jalgaon, after the car’s tyre burst due to which the driver lost his control. While Rupavate lost her life on the spot, the driver and other three in the car have been severely injured. They are presently being treated at a private hospital in Jalgaon.

Hailing from as well as married into political families, Rupavate was married to Congress leader and former trustee of Bahujan Shikshan Sangh late Adv. Premanand Rupavate.
